IT careers: UK salary guide

The National Careers Service it support technician profile lists £24,000 starter to £36,000 experienced. This benchmark describes IT support across sectors. It is not a pay range for all nuclear IT, software, cyber security, data or management jobs.

Compare the actual role and package

Read current employer adverts for the discipline, level, location and employment arrangement you are targeting. Check basic pay separately from overtime, shifts, allowances, pension, bonus and other benefits. The benchmark is not a universal maximum.
