Course Description
Relevant skills for nuclear
3D printing, robotics, IoT and Industry 4.0 are reshaping nuclear and advanced manufacturing. This bootcamp builds the practical knowledge to work confidently with these technologies in demanding, regulated environments.
Includes a 3D printer to keep
Build and operate a Creality Ender 3 during the course, then keep it. Take it home or put it straight to work in your workplace to prototype components, solve practical problems and start applying additive manufacturing from day one.
Get hands-on with professional CAD tools
Design advanced 3D models using Fusion 360 and Z Brush, the same tools used by engineers across nuclear, defence and advanced manufacturing. Practical, applied learning for people who need to create, not just observe.
Funded and free to access
Access cutting-edge advanced manufacturing training at no cost. DfE funding covers the full bootcamp for self-employed and unemployed learners, with heavily subsidised rates for employers looking to build in-house capability.
Learn anywhere with live expert tutors
Online modules run remotely via Teams with live expert tutors and clear self-study support to keep you on track. 3D printing and CAD training is delivered face-to-face, putting hands-on skills at the centre of the experience.
A direct route to new capability
Whether you're upskilling your workforce, changing career direction or looking to bring new technologies into your supply chain, this bootcamp connects learning directly to commercial and operational outcomes.
