Job Description: Document Management is responsible for the implementation and administration of enterprise-wide document management systems and related procedures that enable the organisation to capture, store, retrieve, share, and destroy electronic records and documents ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Essential The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:
Degree or equivalent experience
Significant experience in document control
Good understanding of document management processes in a highly regulated environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Experience of the legal, regulatory, security and nuclear regulations for managing documents
Technical experience/knowledge of systems, safety, and environmental standards
Basic understanding of UK nuclear legislative and regulatory requirements
Desirable
Knowledge of NuGen, its needs and requirements
Knowledge of Nuclear Sector
Experience of working in a high hazard environment
Key Competencies including Nuclear
Ability to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance
A thorough knowledge of document management processes in a highly regulated environment: nuclear preferred
Excellent communication skills within an organisation (multi-cultural), with internal customers and external suppliers
Advocate of a healthy Nuclear Safety Culture within NuGen
Ability to make sound, rational decisions, even when under pressure or when dealing with conflicting priorities
High level of commitment and results oriented (self-motivator, drive, and determination)
Able to work within a high performing team and have the ability to take the initiative, work effectively and efficiently and show resilience
Excellent planning and organisational skills
