COURSE AGENDA
Normative requirements, primarily from EN 60204-1
EN ISO 13850 - Emergency stops
EN ISO 14119 - Interlocks
EN ISO 13851 - Two-hand control
EN ISO 13855 - Positioning of protective devices
The course does not cover functional safety, EN ISO 13849-1, EN 62061 etc.
METHODOLOGY
Upon completion, you will receive your globally recognised TÜV SÜD certificate on Introduction to Electrical Machinery Safety.

COURSE LEADER
Richard Brooks, Technical Trainer, and Technical Advisor. Working as a Technical Trainer and Technical Advisor for 2 years and previously, Technical Sales. Previously, a consultant advising on machinery safety and CE-marking for over 10 years and also 5 years working for the Health and Safety Laboratory.
Engineering degree qualified, 11 years as a machine designer, 11 years delivering technical consultancy on machinery safety, 5 years working at the Health and Safety Laboratory (part of the HSE). Now concentrating on delivering and developing training on the subject of machinery safety. Currently delivering training for a very broad range of attendees, in open courses and in courses for single companies, ranging from a few attendees to more than 50 in multiple sessions.
